Surf City Marathon - Huntington Beach, CA
On February 7th 2010 Karen Warrendorf, one of our sponsored athletes, won the womens division of the Surf City Marathon in Huntington Beach, CA.
She was first place overall female in a field of 966 total women and 31st person to cross the finish line out of 2360 runners. She had an outstanding race! And clearly likes The Recovery Sock!
MIAMI MARATHON 2010
Miami Marathon with a Latino Flavour!
The first thing you feel like doing when you get to Miami airport is...take off your clothes! Everything feels heavy in the hot humidity of south Florida even if it's January.Last week, this worldwide famous tourist spot hosted the ING MiaimiMarathon . The fancy beaches, the gigantic cruise ships, valuable homes, the clear blue skies were a great sight for the nearly 18,000 runners and participants mostly from South America.
The Recovery socks team couldn't help noticing that a great amount of runners wore long socks during the race even under not so comfortable conditions. We know our product is excellent for recovery but finally people are realizing that they are great to run in.We were happy to see, once again that graduated compression socks are making their way into runners' wardrobes, as a must item, in every kind of weather for different types of runners. The variety of colours, were appreciated especially by the Hispanic ladies who also asked for matching headbands and armwarmers but....maybe not for the Miami race :)

Recovery Socks keep on rockin'
The seventh annual P.F. Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Marathon & ½ Marathon took place on January 17th.
Perfect running weather and flat courses through three spectacular cities classify it as a world-class running event.
The peculiar 70 live bands, 40 cheer squads and a free Headliner Concert really made the event unique, true to the Arizona style!
Once again, like in many other races, runners chose to wear knee-high sock. (see picture) Could it be that the Recovery Sock team is right? The patented Italian-made graduated compression socks are not only efficient for recovery, but more and more runners are using them to run to enhance performance
LAS VEGAS MARATHON 2009
Feetness runs away on the Strip
Las Vegas usually dazzles millions of people every day from every part of the world, but on December 6th, 2009 it was the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon with its 27,600 runners that dazzled the city! For the event, the entire Strip was actually closed on both ends to let the runners from 50 states and 39 countries pass with the incredible enthusiasm that every Rock 'N' Roll marathon generates.
The Recovery Sock booth was visited by many of the runners who already know the product and have tested it. Many new and curious people also stopped by at the Mandalay Hotel Convention Center and some even came back the following day for more socks!From the amount of sales, the number of visitors, and the numerous runners wearing them we can proudly state that The Recovery Sock is no longer just a technical 'new entry' product. With its gradual compression and circulation promoting properties, it has made it's way from the feet to the runners' hearts!
CHICAGO MARATHON 2009
Sunday, October 11, was the day of the Chicago Marathon. The polar-like temperatures did not damper the mood of the 35,000 runners from 114 countries. The anticipation was high and the excitement could be felt even at the McCormick Center visited not only by the runners, but families, friends and locals.
The Recovery Sock booth successfully sold out the Italian-made compression socks in a variety of colors, the favorite of this year being lime green. The triathlon Jennifer Harrison, coach and runner Dave Waters, two of the recovery socks testimonials spoke to hundreds of runners who came to the booth not for curiosity but with convinced ideas about the effectiveness of this important and fundamental item for every runner or athlete for that matter. Compression socks are recognized to be a must item more and more.
These are not only used for recovery after a race or workout but also while running to enhance performance and endurance. This was evident in this race as many runners wore compression socks. One of the many young amateur runners, Becky tried out the recovery socks and proudly showed off the fuchsia color that certainly suited her and helped her feel good. Becky was one of the many that bought the socks the day before and tried them out to find out that they actually work. It seems the product did a lot of talking of its own by word of mouth. In effect, it is the company philosophy to let the product do the talking.
BOSTON MARATHON 2009
April 20th 2009. Congratulations to our testimonial DAVE WALTERS for his result at the Boston Marathon. He finished the race in 2:44:23!! 2nd in his category (men 50-54)
